CAPITAL HILL CUSTOM HOME
A COMPLETE REBUILD AND RE-IMAGINATION OF A CLASSIC CAPITAL HILL CRAFTSMAN IN COLLABORATION WITH BOARD & VELLUM
We worked with Board & Vellum on this complete restoration of a historic Capitol Hill craftsman, starting from the studs and adding a full basement for additional living space. The home received structural upgrades to ensure the home's longevity, while also incorporating elegant historical finishes throughout the property. Justine Marie Designs played a key role in the project, creating a stunning and spacious kitchen that serves as the heart of the home. Every detail, from the light fixtures to the custom millwork, was carefully considered to enhance the overall aesthetic of the house.
The result of this collaboration is a modern transformation of a classic Capitol Hill home, where the design-savvy owners have created a visual feast for the eyes. The open layout of the home allows for seamless flow between rooms, while reintroducing the charm and character of the original architecture. With a focus on detail and quality craftsmanship, this project showcases the beauty and potential of restoring historic homes in a way that honors their past while embracing modern living.
