Adding on to your home or business serves many needs of economy and space. While there are myriad functional or practical reasons to add to your home, the one underlying motivation is to work with what you love about your home and/or neighborhood, and add to it! We work with you and your architect to find that natural balance of adding functionality and style, while retaining the aspects of home that you’ve come to cherish or depend on. 

Additions can be very trying projects. A lot of factors must be considered to blend old and new architecture and systems, as well as managing the many potential structural, aesthetic, and functional pitfalls of opening your house up. Your General Contractor must be able to anticipate as many of these pitfalls as possible, and then have the experience and ingenuity to make adaptive and caring responses that meet the project intents, and the humans who uphold them.
